Apparently Ford was not joking when they said they were going to make an electric crossover that looks similar to a Mustang. Spy photos of this new vehicle, called the Mach E, show off a few classic Mustang style pieces.
There’s also several similarities to that of a Jaguar I-Pace in the shape of the Mach E due to the fact that it long and low with smooth features like the Jaguar. But from the front, you can clearly see a Mustang by the shape of the grille cutout and the three-bar taillights that are a very signature part of a Mustang.

Although mechanically, it won’t share anything with the Mustang. It is said to ride on a new architecture built by Ford that is engineered specifically for EVs. That new architecture means there will now be a floor-mounted battery pack with up to 300 miles of range, as well as a front and rear mounted electric motor that is capable of all-wheel-drive.
More details by Ford about the Mach E will be shared when it is debuted on November 17. So in the meantime, you can sit back and wait for the arrival of this interesting new SUV by Ford.
